Show Me the Dice!

Let’s talk about Dice. I love ‘em, I have way too many of them laying around. BUT I NEED MORE, and now I can get more. The Holy Rollers Dice join the fray as an add-on along with the return of the much demanded Unholy Rollers! Both sets are $25 and can be snagged in the Backerkit in the add-on section.
These dice can be used in any number of ways. Need a few extra counters? Use a D6 to count. Don’t like sharing dice with your gross friends or family? Let everyone pick a D6 as their own. Die not rolling well? Put it in Dice Jail and grab a new one. Little sister annoying you? Throw one at her.
The Holy Rollers are a set of five D6, or six sided dice, that have a unique symbol replacing the pip on the one side. Each die has either a Cross, Fly, Knife, Cent, or Tear on them.
You know what’s better than one set of dice? Two sets of dice. The Unholy Rollers debuted in 2019 to much acclaim and quickly sold out. They’re back again for this Kickstarter and they’re as badass as ever. Each die has either a Star of Satan, X, Guppy, Brimstone, or Poop symbol on them.
While we’re talking dice, we wanted to show off the massive 20mm D6 that you all unlocked by crossing the $2M mark.
If you are interested in Add-ons, you can add the money to the Kickstarter campaign to help the community get closer to those Stretch goals. On a Mobile Device click “Manage,” click the three dots at the top right, click “Update Pledge,” and add money under the Bonus Support. On a desktop click “Manage Your Pledge” at the top of the page, click on the blue button that says “change your pledge,” and add money where it says Pledge Amount.

As we start Week 3, we wanted to rehash all of the cards you’ve unlocked. Warp Zones are cards you unlock by completing Social Challenges. Jump on Twitter to help the community complete @edmundmcmillen’s Social Challenges.
The first unlocked Warp Zones came from Edmund McMillen’s other games: The End is Nigh! and Gish! You can find both of these games on Steam.
Spelunky by developer Mossmouth followed quickly after as you smashed more Social Goals. You can support the game on Steam as well!
Our largest Warp Zone so far, coming in at 5 cards, is Slay the Spire by Mega Crit Games.
VVVVVV by Terry Cavanagh, Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, QWOP!, and Dicey Dungeons all warped in together as the community smashed another Social Challenge.
The community clamored for Hollow Knight by Team Cherry & Nuclear Throne by Vlambeer and they were rewarded as they unlocked another Social Challenge.
Week 2 started with the gauntlet thrown down by Edmund. From now on, all 5 items in the Social Challenge must be completed to unlock new cards. We also ventured into new territory with the Newgrounds.com Tank. You can check out some amazing stuff over there including Friday Night Funkin and Castle Crashers. Then we warped into the movies with Psycho Goreman from director Steven Kostanski. Depending on your territory there are several places you can catch this amazing horror comedy. We have a throwback to the mid 90’s with Jhonen Vasquez’s Johnny the Homicidal Maniac with art by Jhonen!
For the first time on the Kickstarter we're sharing the latest Warp Zones unlocked by completing The Corpse Social Challenge. Up first we have Aubrey, George, and Tony from Hotline Miami, from Jonatan Söderström and Dennis Wedin. Along with them we've unlocked Salad Fingers, his Rusty Spoons, and Hubert Cumberdale from creator David Firth. You can check out more of his stuff HERE.
What will we unlock next? Update #6 is still going strong with Warp Zone suggestions, head over there to add yours!
In addition to those 41 amazing cards, we also have the Alt Art Cards that are unlocked for every 1,000 backers who pledge. These amazing cards are drawn by some incredible artists. Make sure to check them out on Twitter!

Week 2 Recap
– Tue, Jun 15, 2021 at 09:50:36 PM
Hello Friends,
It’s the end of week two of the campaign. We’re inches away from busting through the next two Stretch Goals! When we reach 38,336 backers, we will surpass the original Kickstarter’s total number of backers! We’ll be adding something special to the Big Boi box and above when that happens. At $5MM we’ll be adding Blank Cards to the Big Boi box and above. With these cards you’ll be able to add your own twisted visions to the game. Make your own Warp Zone or add a person who really annoys you to the monster deck. There are unlimited possibilities with these cards. Spread the word so that we can hit both of these Stretch Goals this Week!
Let’s Recap Week Two!
We made a huge announcement about Localization of the Binding of Isaac: Four Souls! The Base Game, Requiem Expansion, and “Full Collection” being translated into Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano alongside the English version of the game. We’re excited to bring the world of Isaac to even more fans! You can read more about it in Update #11.
We introduced Lilith and her companion Incubus as plushes (Update #10) and the first renders of the Baby Plum Plush (Update #13).
Social Challenges have gotten crazier. You’ve painted yourself blue and ghost hunted. You’ve told us why you’re going to hell and designed your own Four Souls cards. You’ve dressed up as Mom and drew horrible pictures of her while recording her reaction. It’s been an interesting week to say the least... A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who’s participating. You can follow all the action at @EdmundMcMillen and @TheMaestroTeam!
We’ve branched outside of Indie Games this week with three new Warp Zones.
Up first we have Newgrounds.com with its iconic Newgrounds Tank. Joining the tank are Pink Knight & Lollypop from Castle Crashers and Boyfriend & Girlfriend from Friday Night Funkin. You can check out more about these characters on Newgrounds.com.
Our first warp into the movies comes in the form of Psycho Goreman from director Steven Kostanski. A quick search will let you know where you can watch the movie in your region! Psycho Goreman himself, his eternal item Hunky Boys, and Death Trapper have joined us.
Finally, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac by creator Jhonen Vasquez warps in to cause trouble. Blind Johnny and his eternal item Johnny’s Knives are ready to hack their way through some monsters… and a few players. Follow Jhonen on Twitter HERE for more of his incredible work.
We’ve shown off new Alt Art cards from some incredible artists. Will you add them to your game? Replace the cards already in the game? Or will you frame these beauties?
Edmund has also started showing off new Requiem cards on Twitter here @edmundmcmillen and we have as well HERE and HERE.
What was your favorite new reveal from last week? Let us know in the comments!
Let’s Go! Week 3 starts NOW!

Revealed Requiem Cards
– Tue, Jun 15, 2021 at 07:01:16 AM
Hello Friends,
Quick update today to show off the revealed cards that will be included in The Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Requiem.
Requiem adds new playable characters like Bethany & The Miser and their eternal items. The game will also feature Tainted Characters to add plenty of replayability.
How about Charmed Monsters? These charming cards force players to help others. I think that’s more evil than anything else we’ve done! You can read more about them in Update #8.
Cursed monsters are making their dastardly return to Requiem. We highly recommend killing them ASAP unless you want to feel their devastating effects.
New Souls arrive as well. Spice up your game with these bonus soul cards.
We talked about the brand new Room Deck in Update #6. This advanced play deck will really spice up the game when you choose to use it.
Who do you hope to see in the Requiem Deck? Tell us in the comments!

New Backers:
BoardGameGeek
BoardGameGeek.com is THE website for any and all tabletop games. We have a unique opportunity to really help get the buzz going for Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Requiem over the next 30 days. If you search Binding of Isaac: Four Souls Requiem, or just click HERE, it helps drive the game up the HOTNESS chart, which in turn means more backers and even more Stretch Goals. It would be amazing if our fans helped get us in the Top 10 on the HOTNESS. We know it sounds cliché to say it’s been a dream of ours, but… it’s been a dream of ours. If you also click that heart button in the header to become a fan, it helps even more.
FAQs
Please check the FAQs section of the Kickstarter page. It will have answers to a lot of the questions being asked in the comments section. We will keep adding to it as we see more questions.
Add-ons
The add-on section is near the bottom of the page. You can add money for the add-ons in Kickstarter as “bonus money.” By doing it in Kickstarter, you help propel the Kickstarter closer to the Stretch Goals, which helps everyone! The add-ons will also be available in the BackerKit pledge manager which launches after the Kickstarter campaign ends.
Communication
We have received over 1000 DMs, we're slowly getting to all of those. The best way to get quick answers and to benefit all backers is to post in the Comments section as opposed to DM. This is also where you should post your love for Edmund and his games to ensure that he sees it!
If you have a Warp Zone suggestion please head over to Update #6 and post there.
If you have an Add-on Question not answered elsewhere, please head over to Update #7 and post there.
If you have a questions about Localization/Translation please head over to Update #11 and post there.

We will have more information coming soon!
