English Versions

We are thrilled to report that the English edition of the game has reached port in most locations and the final shipment is scheduled to arrive in port within HOURS. Shipping in the US, EU, and UK is planned to begin March 14th, while the AU and rest of the world will start shipping about a week later. Shipping out every single package is a multi-week process. Please be patient as the fulfillment companies work through getting everyone's shipments packaged and sent.

We understand that waiting for your rewards can be a long and sometimes frustrating process, but we are working hard to get the games to you as soon as possible. We are proud of the hard work and dedication that has gone into the production of this game and we can't wait for you to experience it for yourself.

Localized Versions

Now, for some news regarding the localized editions of the game. While the games shipping to the US, AU, and Asia are on track and will ship in April as planned, we wanted to provide some additional information for backers who are eagerly awaiting the UK and EU localized versions. The games heading to the UK and EU are slightly behind schedule, but we are still working hard to get them to you as soon as we can. To ensure that you receive all of your rewards as soon as possible, we have decided to split shipping for backers who also purchased the English version and/or merchandise. This means that these backers will receive two separate packages. Repeat: EU and UK backers who backed a Localized game and also purchased Merch or an English language game will receive a package with the Merch/English game and then a second package about 2 months later with the Localized game.

Special Tiers

For backers who backed at the special tiers: Satan Head, Bath Water, Draw YOU as Isaac. The logistics of getting all of that around the world is a nightmare. So instead, we're going to be sending those boxes from the US. It will take a bit longer to ship these out, so those items will ship separately from the rest of your pledge items. The packaging will be INTENSE since we don't want the horrifying things growing in the bathwater to spill out. Thank you for your patience, it will be worth it!

Final Thoughts on Shipping

We wanted to remind all of our backers that their addresses are now locked and we are nearing the point where the games will be shipped to the addresses we have on file. If there are any issues, we ask that they reach out to https://maestromedia.com/pages/contactus as soon as possible. We want to ensure that everyone receives their rewards in a timely and accurate manner.

In case you missed the first update. We wanted to send it again. 

ADDRESSES ARE LOCKING ON FEBRUARY 3rd! Shipping of the English version games to backers will be commencing in March and we need to get all the backer information to the fulfillment centers now, so they can begin prepping. The aim is that as soon as they receive the shipping containers, they’ll be able to turn around and ship out to backers.

How do I change my shipping address?

First, yes, you can still change your shipping address yourself in most cases. The only instance in which you cannot change the address yourself is if you’ve moved to a new country.

Start by going to https://boirequiem.backerkit.com/backer/review. If necessary, request a new login link via email.

Once you're in, on mobile you can click the shipping info drop down to edit your address. On desktop there's an edit your address button in the top right corner.

I'm moving in March/April or unsure where I'll be then.

If you are unsure if you're moving, or are moving in March and unsure of the timing, there's a few things options. First, change the address to a trusted friend or family member. I did this when I recently moved states and updated 6 different Kickstarter's to a friends address. It's was a nice excuse to visit and play the games with them.

We can also erase your address completely, which will hold your package indefinitely. Once you've moved, you can then update your address. This will delay your package delivery, but will guarantee it gets to the right place.

I want to check my address.

Good news, Backerkit is going to be sending out a "Final Notice" to update your address in a few days. This will list the address we have on file and you can verify your address then. You can also verify your address by going to https://boirequiem.backerkit.com/backer/review. If necessary, request a new login link via email.

I backed or also purchased a Localized version of the game is my address locking?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to only lock certain people in Backerkit so yes, all backers are locking shortly. We realize that some people will move between now and the end of April and May when the games are going to ship, if you have a localized (i.e. French, German, Italian, Spanish) version of the game, please reach out to us at https://maestromedia.com/pages/contactus and we'll assist you with those changes.

Hey Friends,

A couple big news items. 

First, Requiem is beginning to hit the ports (I was a little behind on sending the last update)! We've had reports of one-third of the boats carrying the English language versions of the game successfully reaching port. There's still a lot to do: the games have to pass customs, they need to be picked up for ground transport to the fulfillment center, and they have to be checked into the fulfillment center and sorted. Once that process is done though, the games will start shipping! We're right on track for March fulfillment of the English language games and the merch.

Second, because of this WE NEED TO LOCK ADDRESSES. If you are moving soon or have moved already without updating your address, please do so now! How do to that and answers to many of your questions are just below the graphic, please read on.

English Language Games & Merch Are On The Water!

Hello Friends!

Great news from the factory from the last few weeks, we have confirmation that the English Language games, Tapeworm, and the Merchandise are all on their way to the fulfillment center!

The games are on a few different ships, heading to different ports around the world so that we can effectively get everyone their game as quickly as possible.

What’s Next?

We have about 2 months before the ships arrive in those ports, cargo ships have a maximum speed of about 12 knots and do not travel at that speed often.

Once the ships arrive in port, they’ll need to clear each different country’s customs and then will be loaded on trains/trucks to reach the fulfillment center.

When your game/merch/etc ships to you, you will receive an email notification and tracking info.

Can I add something to my pledge?

Sadly no, that time has passed and orders (not shipping addresses) are locked.

Can I change the language of my game?

We have already allocated the games needed for each location, so we are unable to change game languages.

We Love You Matt, We Miss You

With great sadness, we mourn the loss of our dearest colleague Matt Hoffman, who passed away on Thursday, January 12th.

Matt was our first hire. He was our friend. He was family.

His commitment to the company was inspiring. He shined as our business controller and in our Kickstarter campaigns. He understood the challenges involved in creating games. He often took on the role of devil's advocate and pointed out what else we should consider in our strategies. In this role, he perfectly complemented our team. He was instrumental.

Matt was a gentle soul with a perspective that we all treasured. The depth of Matt's knowledge of science, cinema, history, food and current events was outstanding.

Matt's passing is a huge loss for the team, both personally and professionally—but it's through his example that we can find our way back from tragedy toward meaning and purpose again.

Matt, we miss you terribly. We promise to live up to your memory by continuing to create projects that matter. You’ve always inspired us to create games and products that make people feel connected to their loved ones. Your generous, curious and thoughtful spirit shines through everything we do at Maestro Media. We won’t be the same without you but we will do our best to live up to your incredible legacy.
